We look forward to welcoming you to our inaugural national conference on the 20th June at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8.
Our focus will be on future trends in private health care – exploring amongst other things how the care we will provide to patients will change over the next five to ten years including:
The priorities for investment in the sector so as to ensure we continue to offer the most up-to-date and appropriate treatments to patients;
Looking beyond accreditation and towards continuous improvement in quality and patient safety in private hospitals across the country
Exploring the changing nature of the partnership between hospitals and health insurers – will we follow the emerging global trend – focusing on keeping people well rather than making them better?
How the rest of Ireland’s health system interacts with private hospitals – the scope for new partnership models to solve the changing health needs of the population.
The conference comes at an important time in Irish health care policy, following quickly upon the publication of the keenly awaited report of the first all party Dáil committee proposing a strategy on the future of health care. We will have an opportunity to tease out the recommendations and see what they might mean in practice for the future development of the private hospital sector which already treats over 400,000 patients annually in 20 hospitals across Ireland.
Our event will also provide ample opportunity for networking and exchange between leaders in the sector and our diverse range of partners in health care.
